十年一次, an evaluation team visits every college and university in the Middle States region to evaluate its performance based on 14 Standards of Excellence established to ensure that students are being well served and experiencing the higher education they have a right to expect. 埃尔迈拉大学's last visit was in April of 2016.

Below are excerpts from the evaluation team's report to the Commission which resulted in the College being judged as in compliance with the Standards of Excellence and thereby being reaccredited by the Commission...

“The Board of Trustees is appropriately diverse and representative with the right mix of expertise to fulfill its duties.”

认证 Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)

埃尔迈拉大学 received a formal notification of the action taken by the 认证 Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) 在2024年4月的会议上.

The Board of Commissioners granted continuing accreditation to the baccalaureate nursing program and scheduled the next evaluation visit for Fall 2031.

AAQEP认证

埃尔迈拉大学 is a member of the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP). 根据§52.21 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, the educator programs offered by 埃尔迈拉大学 are considered to be continuously accredited for purposes of meeting the New York State requirement that all such programs maintain continuous accreditation.
